DENMARK: Annual Update – Expected Labour Law Changes in 2017

Material amendments expected:  A government committee has been set up to discuss changes to existing holiday legislation. The Committee was created after the European Commission expressed concern that the Danish rules do not reflect EU law.

A proposal for a new Bill to amend the rules is expected early in 2017. The proposal will likely include extensive changes.

Action required: None at present, but keep abreast of the current situation.
